Watermark is partnering with Sigma Aldrich to deliver the Science Next Collaborative (SNC), an Australian-first initiative that aims to empower our world-class scientists.
The Science Next Collaborative is led by Reich Webber-Montenegro, Director – Marketing, Inside Sales and Shared Services, Sigma Aldrich Oceania, as well seven leading Australian scientists from across the country who constitute the SNC Ambassadors.
The SNC is aimed at early-to-mid-career researchers, and will offer expert guidance and educational resources that better enable researchers to bridge the gap from basic and promising research discovery to translational research and its successful commercialisation.
Watermark will be represented by Karen Sinclair, Dr Grant Jacobsen and Dr Brittany Howard, and will provide expert advice in relation to IP matters as relevant to early-to-mid-career researchers, including patent searching resources and how to best utilise this information, advice for obtaining strong patent protection, and recommendations for seeking potential investors and research collaborators.
The SNC forums will be held in Brisbane on 26 August, Sydney on 3 September, and Melbourne on 8 September 2015. Registration is free and available via the Science Next Collaborative online hub.
We hope to see you there.
