We encourage and support fundraising activities for specific community organisations, causes, programs or projects. Watermark team members are encouraged to volunteer to coordinate and be involved in a fundraising activity.
Watermark proudly supports the New Day Box charity that provides ‘a gift of hope’ for women in family violence crisis.
New Day Box gifts boxes filled with goodies to women living in domestic crisis accommodation in Victoria over the festive season. As Christmas approaches, mothers often go without in an effort to make Christmas special for their children when living under stress. The New Day Box provides women with a gift to open at Christmas but this symbolizes so much more than the giving of just material items.
Annually we host a morning tea. It’s fun and a rewarding way to support the event and help save lives.
CEO’s all over Australia spent one night each year sleeping outside of their warm beds and homes in order to raise awareness of the thousands of homeless people who sleep like this most nights.
Watermark has proudly supported its clients Ms Sue Ismiel, CEO of Sue Ismiel and Daughters (Nads hair removal products) and Mr Steve Clarke, Group CEO & Managing Director of ASKIN Performance Panels. Our own Karen Sinclair, Principal, participates annually in this wonderful initiative.
All funds raised directly assist people experiencing homelessness. Vinnie’s aims to break the poverty cycle by providing food vans, referral services, counselling, safe accommodation and practical help including emergency accommodation, essential personal care products, bedding and clothing to vulnerable people on the streets of Melbourne and some of Victoria’s most vulnerable regions including Endeavour Hills, Berwick, Moe and Traralgon.
