Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Marketing) from the University of Western Australia in 2002. He then assumed a contract position with Ernst & Young in the E-Risk and Network Security division, working specifically on the implementation of online banking security mechanisms.
In 2004, Nick returned to study, commencing a Bachelor of Law at the University of Notre Dame whilst working fulltime in a medium-sized Perth law firm. Working as a legal clerk he was specifically trained in the areas of commercial conveyancing, intellectual property licensing, property law and commercial litigation. Nick is currently completing his law degree at the University of Melbourne and expects to qualify for practice in 2008.
Nick joined Watermark in early 2007 and has gained experience working on various patent applications and oppositions including renewable energy, mobile communications systems, mechanical devices and software related business methods.
