Peter is a Senior Associate with Watermark and a Director of Watermark Intellectual Property Lawyers.  Peter’s practice encompasses all aspects of trade mark law, including clearance searches, registration, oppositions, infringement and general advice, as well as the negotiation and drafting of agreements relating to intellectual property such as trade mark and technology licences, franchise agreements, collaborative research and development agreements and secrecy agreements.

Peter holds degrees in law and science from the University of Melbourne, and is a subject co-ordinator and lecturer for the University’s post-graduate subject Licensing Law and Technology Transfer. He is an author of the chapter "Assignments, Licensing and Security Interests in Trade Marks" published by The Law Book Company Ltd.

Peter joined Watermark in 2006, having previously worked in the intellectual property department of a major law firm and a patent attorney firm, and as in-house Intellectual Property Advisor for global resources company BHP.
