Robynne holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle and a Masters of Industrial Property from the University of Technology, Sydney. Robynne is also a qualified Patent Attorney and practices as a Solicitor in Victoria.
As a Solicitor Robynne has worked on various patent and trade mark oppositions as well as Federal Court Appeals and infringement proceedings acting for both the rights owner and alleged infringer. Robynne also has considerable experience drafting licensing, manufacturing and acquisition agreements and advising on confidentiality and branding.
Her patents practice encompasses a wide range of patent law, with particular focus on all aspects of prescription pharmaceuticals. She also has significant experience in the area of environmental chemistry patents including biodegradable and recyclable products and environmentally focused systems and processes. Her trade mark practice includes advising on trade marks and branding strategies and undertaking infringement surveillance and enforcement .
Robynne joined Watermark in 2005 having worked as a patent attorney and solicitor for a Sydney based patent attorney and legal firm for several years before being retained as a consultant litigator working on several Federal Court patent litigations.
