Brian is a registered Patent and Trade Mark Attorney in both Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining the patent attorney profession in 1978, Brian practiced as a research chemist working on the development of optical brightening agents (resulting in the grant of several patents) and on precursor projects to the development of Australia's polymeric banknotes.
Brian joined Watermark as a Principal in 2004 bringing with him in excess of 25 years experience in the patent and trade mark profession including having been a founding partner of a boutique patent and trade mark firm.
Brian joins the Bioact group at Watermark providing further expertise in the area of organic chemistry and chemical process technology. He plays a key role in the Watermark Trade Mark Group having had extensive experience in non-contentious trade mark matters including the management and maintenance of trade mark portfolios for both Australian and overseas clients.
