Amanda has over ten years experience as a medical scientist having worked in both diagnostic and research laboratories within the healthcare sector. She has practical experience in DNA analysis and cell flowcytometry for the diagnosis of cancer and haematological disorders, coagulation studies, and diagnostic biochemistry and microbiology. She has a particular interest in biotechnology and its application in the healthcare sector.
Before joining Watermark in our Melbourne office, Amanda worked for a Perth based Patent Attorney firm for two years and was a consultant to the Western Australian State Government, assisting in the implementation of the state's IP policy and providing advice on issues of management and commercialisation of public sector intellectual property.
