I have an honours degree in chemical engineering and am particularly interested in working to protect inventions for chemical processes and their associated technologies. I have for some time been interested in developing and maintaining the professional knowledge of Watermark’s professional staff and have, for a number of years now, been involved with professional training within and outside the firm. I particularly like to assist the young attorneys develop their skills. Often we have trainees come in with no law experience whatsoever and to see them have their light bulb moments and then grow into competent and eventually highly skilled patent and trade mark practitioners is very rewarding.
