“I spent almost twenty years working for the Dow Chemical Company and BP Chemicals in the US and Europe developing catalysts and processes for preparation of polyolefins. During that time I was heavily involved in many intellectual property issues. I found the marriage of science and law fascinating” I AM: dedicated Title: Patent and Trade Marks Attorney Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (Honours), PhD I have worked on a range of fundamental and applied research and development projects principally in the areas of catalysis and polymers. I have a strong commercial acumen coupled with a background in IP, particularly in competitive analysis and intellectual asset management. During my career I have over thirty publications in refereed journals and am an inventor on over twenty issued patents. My major areas of specialisation are in synthetic chemistry, industrial process chemistry, catalysts and catalytic processes, polymers, materials science and high throughput experimentation.
